Dr. Priscila Tamplain is the Director of the Developmental Motor Cognition Lab/ Little Mavs Movement Academy at the University of Texas at Arlington, and has just launched a national survey to evaluate the impact of DCD here in the US, as was done in Australia (results can be found here) and is currently being done in Canada.
She will publish the findings in journal articles, comparing them with these other countries, and also sharing with the International Society for Research in DCD (Dr. Tamplain is the US representative for the organization). She needs a large number of participants (in Australia they had almost 500 responses).
The study is for parents of children with ages between 5- and 18 years who have persistent movement difficulties not associated with another movement-related condition (e.g., cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy), living in the USA.
